Math Location: IAKSS | Information to "stop" and "restart" a Galileo Assessment The steps are outlined below…. From Mike York: You CAN restart a test. To do this… 1. A student can work and then when they need to stop, look for the “Review” box/button in the top right corner of the screen. Do NOT CLICK ON “Submit Test ” on the bottom of the screen. This permanently closes the test. 2. Click on the “Review” It will now say “Exit” (See Screen Shot) 3. Click on “Exit” and “Yes, Exit” on the confirmation screen. * 4. You will then be taken back to a screen where a student chooses the assessment they need to take. 5. They can just log back in at any time in the testing window, select the assessment they did NOT complete (they exited as described above), and keep working. NOTE: They will be able to go back and change any answer they chose. The test was basically just paused and it will reopen and students will be working on the test just as if they had never left. DO NOT CLICK ON SUBMIT TEST UNTIL THE TEST IS COMPLETE! ONCE A TEST IS SUBMITTED A STUDENT CAN’T GO BACK A WORK ON IT AT ALL. *If a student just closes their web browser and walks away their work will be saved and they can pick up where they left off as well. This is not ideal, we should help the students learn to log off the correct way instead.

Math Location: IAKSS | The Galileo Benchmark Assessment window remains open for two weeks. These are helpful tips: Every level of K- 9th-grade Algebra 1 will be taking the assessment. Please do not wait until the day you plan on giving the assessment to have students log in. Have students run through a practice test. The video below shares how to do that (jump to 1:33). The practice test is only five questions so it won’t take long but it will ensure that settings on the device used for the assessment are correct. (One thing to watch out for is the screen resolution – students may have modified it to such an extent that the Galileo assessment won’t display properly.) To access Galileo, please click on the app under Clever. If for some reason the app is not there, you will need to access it through this Imagine Learning link: https://my.imaginelearning.com/dashboard/user/7248dfca-3897-4957-bed8-38d38008f927/organizations Click on the arrow in the top left corner next to Imagine Language & Literacy and choose Imagine Assessment: Galileo. Click on the calendar in the top right corner of the screen to access the assessment. Practice Test Video: https://soapbox.wistia.com/videos/tCcWUWiMJ4

Math Location: IAKSS | If you can not remember how to look up who has finished/not finished the Galileo this screencasitfy Alicia Fera, Southern Middle made may help you. Keep in mine that she does not have a teacher account…..so it might not look "exactly" like your dashboard, but hopefully, it can help remind you of some of the steps. Thanks so much! https://youtu.be/VM_FSsl-LWM From Alicia: Teachers may have to add the tile “Test Monitoring”. So if you do not have that tile click where it says “manage tiles” and then scroll through all the tile options until you find “test monitoring”. We found it at the very bottom of the list, once you find it, double click and it will add it to your set of tiles once in Galileo. To go back to where all the tiles are just click on launchpad. Once a teacher added that tile and then clicked on it from the Launchpad - it brought her students right up to where she could see who had a “locked test”(finished) and who had an “unlocked test” (not finished).
