"Snips" for Topic 2 Assessment. Snips are the online questions in a format that can be printed.

These print-outs are valuable!

Students should take all enVision assessments using pencil/paper prior to completing online.

The attached Snips are in a Word document. If teachers customize the Topic 2 Assessment, these Snips can be customized, as well.

Note: Topic 2 is NOT a common assessment for the district data collection for Grade 6. Thanks to Debbie for creating these SNIPS for us!

Need supports for graphing rational numbers or with reflections of points on the coordinate plane?

There are questions that require students to have those skills on the topic 2 and district common assessments, and Morton 6th grade teachers found that several students could benefit with more practice with them.

They have shared a couple pages created for that extra practice.

To use with 2.4, 2.5, and 2.6

Hello everyone, I wanted to pass along a new release from Desmos that I did with my class this week because the kids LOVED it and had so much fun. This is a "pumpkin carving contest" where kids design a pumpkin by plotting shapes in the coordinate plane and then "carve." the class gallery allows them to see all the designs and we are voting Friday on a class favorite
I highly recommend this for a fun time and excellent connection to the Coordinate Plane.
