Here is a desmos activity for practicing solving equations.

https://teacher.desmos.com/activitybuilder/custom/5f84dcaa7198160cbe8f16c5

Students are given the steps to solve a multi-step equation. They must drag the steps to the correct order.

The first link is a desmos activity I created for practicing solving equations:

https://teacher.desmos.com/activitybuilder/custom/5f84dcaa7198160cbe8f16c5

This link is for the FAL on equations in digital format. There is a card sort for always true, sometimes true, never true to connect with infinitely many solutions, 1 solution, no solution.

Formative Assessment Lesson - Laws of Arithmetic - THIS is the recommended FAL for 1st semester. VERY important to use with students for learning.

Card Sort!!! Super great

Students match expressions to area models. So important to build foundations for Algebra

Topic 2 : Lesson 2-1

Can be used later for Tier 2 practice or MTSS supports, as well.
