Math   Location: IAKSS | Attached you will find a newly aligned Calendar Math option. In this format, we took feedback from teachers, and reduced “the number” of Calendar Math components and also ensured that critical components were introduced at effective times – all aligned with our Common Core Math Curriculum. There is a Long Range Plan Sheet AND a “notes for teachers” for EACH grade level (6,7,8). IF a teacher wants to keep the current Calendar Math framework, as the purple teacher guide provides, that is perfectly OKAY! No worries! However, we have provided this 2nd format as an option for teachers who want to try something new. Regardless of which plan your staff chooses, (either the purple book Standard format from the Company OR this revised flow-chart) BOTH meet the requirements by federal law of RtI for Tier 2 math students.
