The Mathematics Instructional Learning Community (MILC) Project is an alliance among Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) math teachers focusing on:
  • Increasing the pedagogy and content knowledge of math teachers;
  • Integrating technology tools into everyday math instruction; and
  • Developing, implementing and revising units of study.

I will start chapter 12 when we get back from Spring Break. I'm going to do a chapter test after 12.1 and 12.2 so that I can get more grades in that category. Then I'll do another test when I get finished with all of the sections. Hopefully, this will help my kids get a better overall average in the test section. I'll attach the tests after I make them.

I opened Chapter 12 today by using the Quadratic Basketball Shoot that Ryan McQuerry created for our MILC unit. It was so much fun ... the kids had a ball! It was a nice way to generate some excitement for quadratic functions.
