Mathematics Instructional Learning Community
The Mathematics Instructional Learning Community (MILC) Project is an alliance among Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) math teachers focusing on:
  • Increasing the pedagogy and content knowledge of math teachers;
  • Integrating technology tools into everyday math instruction; and
  • Developing, implementing and revising units of study.

If you didn't see it on the today show, here is a story about a girl who was shot but her glasses case and graphing calculator deflected the bullet.

I told all of my students that not only could their calculator help them in math classes, but it could also save their life. Several of them passed the word along to friends. They loved it....
