The Mathematics Instructional Learning Community (MILC) Project is an alliance among Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) math teachers focusing on:
  • Increasing the pedagogy and content knowledge of math teachers;
  • Integrating technology tools into everyday math instruction; and
  • Developing, implementing and revising units of study.

Thanks to our geometry team of Ronni Tallent, Travis Mullen, Bryson, Kate, Shelley and others that contributed hours and work to this new unit!

When we shared with teacher focus groups, the powerpoints were particularly embraced. Lots more for you to see as well. Go to final units (upper right hand corner) and scroll down!

The Dartboard project can be used with constructions by compass and straight edge if anyone is interested there is another version.
