Yesterday when I tried to use the navigator, I got an error message that said the navigator network was not working. I tried several things but couldn't get it to work. I had no trouble the last time I used it and it is the same system. Anyone know what to do to fix it?? Help!!

I don't know if this is the solution you're looking for or not, Nancy, but maybe try this ...

In the upper right hand corner of the Navigator screen there is a button for NETWORK MANAGER. Click on that to open. Click on the ADD ACCESS POINT button. Once that's done, click on the ADD HUBS button. If the hubs aren't recognized, then on the back of each hub is a small RESET button that will need to be pushed. Once you've reset all the individual hubs, try the ADD HUBS button in Navigator again. Hopefully that will do it.

Something similar to what you describe happened to me last year. I used the Navigator - no problems. Someone else used the Navigator in their classroom after that, and then the next time I tried to use that same Navigator system, nothing would work. We finally figured out that if the Navigator is used on another computer prior to you using it, you will need to re-add and reset everything. At least that's what we found. Someone with more knowledge might know of another - easier - way to handle your problem.

Thanks, Shannon. I tried adding the access point but it wouldn't do that. I will try again. No one else has used this navigator so I am not sure why this has happened. I guess it is too much to ask for it to be a problem-free activity!

Well, shoot. Maybe try this if you haven't already ...

Try plugging the Access Point in to a different USB port. Sounds overly simple (& you may have already tried this), but amazingly enough, I had to do that very thing when I was first setting up our Navigator & couldn't get the computer to recognize the Access Point.

??

Kelley Oliver went over this morning and it worked just fine for her - not one problem!! Must be me.

I am going to try it after school today in my free time and see if it will work!

Thanks for your suggestions.
