The Mathematics Instructional Learning Community (MILC) Project is an alliance among Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) math teachers focusing on:
  • Increasing the pedagogy and content knowledge of math teachers;
  • Integrating technology tools into everyday math instruction; and
  • Developing, implementing and revising units of study.

As December's leader for discussion, I wanted to remind everyone to log-in for your 30 minutes and try to do some posting.

I thought I'd ask everyone how they are reviewing for their finals. I'm planning on using jeopardy for geometry and algebra I and hopefully algebra II if I have time to create it. I'm trying some games this year, to see if it keeps students interested.

I have also tried some games. I usually make up a tic tac toe game that gets fair results. I also created a Matho game which is like a bingo. I know it is too late for this year, but if you'd like, I can send you one of those games for next semester.
