The Mathematics Instructional Learning Community (MILC) Project is an alliance among Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) math teachers focusing on:
  • Increasing the pedagogy and content knowledge of math teachers;
  • Integrating technology tools into everyday math instruction; and
  • Developing, implementing and revising units of study.

Thanks for the idea about the white board. I have a hard time figuring out where to position the paper. This might help. I also had several kids say that it hurts their eyes. Any suggestions to keep it from jumping around?
I am pleased as a peacock with my camera/projector set up.
Instead of the kids taking time to recopy a homework problem on the board, I borrow their homework and display the problem in question. They like seeing their paper on display. (I did ask them to pay closer attention to their handwriting and to perhaps write just a bit larger than normal.
