Mathematics Instructional Learning Community
The Mathematics Instructional Learning Community (MILC) Project is an alliance among Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) math teachers focusing on:
  • Increasing the pedagogy and content knowledge of math teachers;
  • Integrating technology tools into everyday math instruction; and
  • Developing, implementing and revising units of study.

Subject: KCTM Fall Conference
Don't forget to complete your professional development request form for KCTM in Georgetown on Sept 30th. Your PD rep needs your request ASAP because it needs to be on the Sept board agenda. Cost is just $60 so several from each school should be able to get funds to attend. Hope to see you all in Georgetown Saturday Sept 30th.

At the MESA banquet, Paula Cissell will be honored for winning the 2006 Presidential Award for Math and Science teachers for the state of KY.

Our NCTM Past President is also speaking!

If you want to come for great food and fellowship, we will have a large table reserved for us! Will be fun
