Mathematics Instructional Learning Community
The Mathematics Instructional Learning Community (MILC) Project is an alliance among Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) math teachers focusing on:
  • Increasing the pedagogy and content knowledge of math teachers;
  • Integrating technology tools into everyday math instruction; and
  • Developing, implementing and revising units of study.

in case the opportunity arises for me to video tape a basketball player, do you want me to do a little interview or do you think i should just tape shots?

My initial vision of the video does not really include dialouge with the players, but it couldn't hurt to interview them if you wanted to. If we decide to use the interviews, we'll have them. If we decide not to use them, no harm done.

Good news!! I was able to tape Lukasz Obrzut making some shots. I also taped my twirlers b/c some of their exchanges followed the path of a quadratic. I will continue to try to get other players.
