The Mathematics Instructional Learning Community (MILC) Project is an alliance among Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) math teachers focusing on:
  • Increasing the pedagogy and content knowledge of math teachers;
  • Integrating technology tools into everyday math instruction; and
  • Developing, implementing and revising units of study.

Location: PL Dunbar		Did you all see the e-mail from Vicki about the stock market thing? Does anyone have any experience with this or feel it might be something we could use?

Location: Henry Clay		Connie Waespe has participated in the Stock Market Game for several years with her Adv. Algebra 2 class. She claims that it is great fun for the kids and not alot of work for her. Contact her for more info.

Location: PL Dunbar		So this was used in an algebra 2 class. Since I haven't taught algebra 2 I don't know what concept it was using, but is it something we should look at? I mean she said she didn't have to do much work with it. That's a plus.
