The Mathematics Instructional Learning Community (MILC) Project is an alliance among Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) math teachers focusing on:
  • Increasing the pedagogy and content knowledge of math teachers;
  • Integrating technology tools into everyday math instruction; and
  • Developing, implementing and revising units of study.

Greetings FCPS Math!

Our Math Back to School Professional Learning Mini Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4 and Wednesday, August 5, 2020.

We can’t wait to see you (virtually) on Tuesday, August 4, and/or Wednesday, August 5. There are 39 sessions over the 2 days and attendees can pick and choose sessions to attend.

Jerry Broyles, FCPS Technology and former Beaumont math teacher, will share about Learning Management System techniques.
Jason Reed
Our former FCPS teacher friend from Dunbar is participating from Marshall County to share tips and tricks for making or virtual platform “Math Friendly”.
Joanna Stevens
Former Kentucky Teacher of the Year and former LHS math department member, Joanna will share her insights and experiences in her classroom as she teaches low socioeconomic students using a growth mindset.
Aaron Timmons
Our former FCPS colleague (BSHS and TCHS), Aaron will share work from AdvKentucky about preparing all students for success in AP courses.
