Fayette County Public Schools: Math Learning Walks

Purpose: The goal of math learning walks is to solidify our vision of excellent math instruction in Fayette County Public Schools among key stakeholders, and create a shared understanding of the changes we expect to see in math classes over the course of enVision implementation.

Specifically, we hope to reinforce, and measure the success of the district’s 3 math academic priorities: curriculum use, student thinking and discussion and aspects of rigor.

Schools will develop targeted action plans to improve math within their buildings, providing their teachers with specific, actionable feedback, in accordance with the unique needs of their schools.
