The Mathematics Instructional Learning Community (MILC) Project is an alliance among Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) math teachers focusing on:
  • Increasing the pedagogy and content knowledge of math teachers;
  • Integrating technology tools into everyday math instruction; and
  • Developing, implementing and revising units of study.

When I began doing lessons with the document camera, I ended up throwing away the paper that I wrote on. I realized this would be a great resource for students that are absent. They really appreciate it. As a matter of fact, some students will ask me if anyone was absent so they can keep the notes themselves! I have even made copies to give to students that ask for them.

I do that too. I keep a notebook for each course and put my notes in that notebook. Works Great!!
