Mathematics Instructional Learning Community
The Mathematics Instructional Learning Community (MILC) Project is an alliance among Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) math teachers focusing on:
  • Increasing the pedagogy and content knowledge of math teachers;
  • Integrating technology tools into everyday math instruction; and
  • Developing, implementing and revising units of study.

Subject: November Input
The month has certainly flown by. The document camera is still an awesome tool. It is used almost daily in one of my collab classes and the students have taken to it really well. Regretfully, it is very difficult to carry around and hook up as I float to my different rooms. I share it with Ms. Rudnick-Woodall so we use it as we can. I look to the day when we can hopefully get a math room again and utilize all the cool stuff we have.
