	Sorry it's taken so long to get here. I am the math teacher at Southside Technical Center. Natalee has asked me to join your team. At Southside we have Algebra I, part 1 and part 2 and Geometry. A unit in either subject would be great. Surface area fits in well with the projects we do. Finding connections between quadratic equations and the physical world would be wonderful. My students need as much kinesthetic learning as possible.

Math Posts: 50 Location: Tates Creek	Welcome to the Tates Creek group, Kelly! Glad to have you as a part. I have e-mailed our math department as well to get their input regarding our topic(s), so once we have all the input we can get, we can all decide as a group how to proceed. It sounds like you are teaching the same classes we had talked about targeting ourselves. -Shannon Cole
