Math Posts: 79 Location: Tates Creek | After finding what i, i^2, i^3, ... and seeing that my students were still not quit interpreting the subtleties correctly, I decided to wing modular arithmetic with them and it worked great. Actually seeing iterations visually in a circle seemed to just click for most of them. When they started calculating higher degrees, they found the pattern for themselves and developed the shortcut themselves. | ||
