The song I made up was to the tune of the Notorious B.I.G. (Biggie Smalls) song "Hypnotize." I used it to help my kids with their signs while factoring trinomials into binomials. I made a complete fool of myself (nothing new there, though!), but the kids seemed to enjoy it & it actually seemed to help a number of them with their signs.

What I found so humorous was this ...
Today I had my Algebra I Part 2 kids write goals for themselves, as well as write down things I could do for them to help them reach their goals. One kid actually wrote on his goals sheet: "Write more math songs!" Too cute.
