The new unit written this summer for Algebra I over Chapters 1 & 2 does not cover matrices. Our long range plan from the blue book does. Just wondering what most of you are doing about this. Aren't we still supposed to cover them? This seems like the best time to get this done.

Some time ago I got from Natalee a packet of matrice supplement stuff. It was basically the stuff we had in the old blue algebra book we had last adoption cycle. There is also a numb3rs activity tie in. and don't forget the matrices stuff we did with ruth this summer.

(aren't we all glad I am not an English teacher?)

This is a great activity to introduce matrices, how they are used, and how to read them It worked well in my classes.
